im using windows xp sp2 on two computers connected to a router that is connected to the DSL modem.
before, everything was fine until recently, our internet connection seemed like the heart of a dying man. we have to click on the "repair" button everyonce in a while if the internet stops.

its getting a annoying and we dont know if its software, hardware or ISP problem.

If your service box is close you could run a wire straight from the box to the modem to see if that is you problem. Call your ISP and have them conduct a line test from thier end.
