file compression & decompression

well my wife was griping about low disc space and slow computer, so w/o any research into file compression i started clicking and here i am. i compressed the c drive witch pretty much holds everything. after it was all over but the moaning and groaning, she (my wife) can't play some here games (zenerchi). a error message comes up saying keyhole drm app is not working. any assistance if there is any would be greatly appreciated so that i may continue to live.
