I was just cleaning up my computer tonight...usual maintenence, and noticed a program (in the area i can uninstall programs) that is called "USB 2.0 mass storage driver" and is 14.2 GB in size.

Is this right? Seems really wierd to me.

I'm running vista home premium.

Thanks!

Really weird. Are you sure it's GB?

Any idea which USB device uses this driver?

I'm positive is said GB. I figured that it had to be wrong so I uninstalled it and hardly any space cleared from my HDD. Definitely not 14GB worth. After restarting, I plugged in my external HDD and it works fine... so I'm not sure what that was about but it seems to be resolved as of now. The reason I was doing the cleanup was because the comp has been pretty sluggish as of recently. It's still pretty bad so I'm going to go post over in the malware etc. forum and hopefully somebody can take a look at a HJT log or something.

Thanks for your help, it's much appreciated.
