I have a Lenovo T61 and neither my trackball nor touchpad are working. external mouse (USB port) works fine. I tried to remove and reinstall UltraNav driver. I can an error message when trying to remove current driver (I am worried that it might be corrupted), but I went ahead with install driver. No results. I tried the troubleshooting guide from the Lenovo website... it tells me to click on Start, Programs, ThinkVantage, and then ThinkPad Configuration... but when I go through those steps, I don't find ThinkPad Configuraiton in the drop down list.

any suggestions would be appreciated.

The touchpad is referred to as an UltraNav pointing device. You can access the controls for this by pressing FN and F8 simultaneously.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
