Good Morning!
I'm new to this site and have never posted here before, but it's been a terrific resource for my issue I've been having.

I recently acquired Antimalware Doctor. Upon it's detection I purchased PC Tools SpywareDoctor for assistance in removal. My keyboard no longer worked in regular mode so I switched to SafeMode to install and run it. I was able to remove quite a bit of it, but apparently not quite all. After a majority of it's removal I was struck with the Virus Scan 2010 malware. I managed to to download Malwarebytes antimalware program and with that seemed to have stopped the false warnings. I've run full scans with both programs and neither has found anything (the only time it finds anything is after a reboot/restart when it runs an automatic quick scan)

I've gone into regedit and removed two of the four files that were recommended for removal, the other two were not present.

At the moment I am avoiding booting into regular mode. My keyboard (wireless) does not work and I am unable to reboot/shutdown/standby without hardbooting. I am sure that there are other processes that are affected as well, but I'm not entirely sure what, yet. I have tried uninstalling my keyboard and reinstalling it kind of aware that that wouldn't be a solution, but figured it wouldn't hurt to try. I don't think that using a regular wired keyboard would be a final solution because it's not curing the problem. While in Safemode, whichever of these viruses is still active is still redirecting me to misc. sites on the internet automatically, and it disables my virus/malware programs unless I manually start them at boot up.

I'm about at my wits end, having barely slept in the three days since this started, I am ready to reformat my hard drive and start over with linux. If anyone has any advice to help keep me from having to take that final step (like deciding to break a locked car window when there's no other way to get your keys back) I would really appreciate it.
