My wife clicked on a game when going to a website to view a movie and then several bogus spyware program bubbles appeared. Before I was able to shut down and reboot in Safe Mode the virus disabled many functions on the computer including our antivirus software and windows security center. I tried to restore the computer to a restore point a week ago, but I am still unable to boot in normal mode. When I do, windows loads but then crashes after a blue screen comes up. I am able to boot in Safe mode, which I am using now. I was able to run spybot s&d but only found tracking cookies. I also ran Malwarebytes and found nothing. I just downloaded HiJack to create a log. We have a Dell laptop and our running Windows Vista 64bit.
Thanks for any help

Hi zach, if you have your Vista DVD, please try a startup repair
