System: XP Home -SP3

When turning on the computer the blue screen comes up with the following:

A problem has been detected and windows has shut down to prevent damage.

The problem seems to be caused by the following file:

kdcom.dll page_fault_in_nonpaged_area

***stop: 0x00000050 (0x8A0000, 0x00000000, 0xF7892DB, 0x00000000)
***kdcom.dll - address F78982DB based at F789000, datestamp 4c5ac574

It will not boot in safe mode and it will not boot to last known boot.

ran the recovery consel .. chkdsk /p
said there were no problems with disk

What should I do next?
Thanks in advance.

What's the /p flag?
Try running chkdsk /f /r
