I'm running windows xp home sp3, AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4600+ , Microstar, 2GB ram. I know I have a virus in my windows\system32\user32.dll file.
I pulled up my windows tools and opened dependency walker. It gave the following:
EFSADU.DLL Error opening file. The system cannot find the file specified (2).
IESHIMS.DLL Error opening file. The system cannot find the file specified (2).
WER.DLL Error opening file. The system cannot find the file specified (2).
Warning: At least one delay-load dependency module was not found.
Warning: At least one module has an unresolved import due to a missing export function in a delay-load dependent module.
I checked the database files and confirm that one of them at least is microsoft. Not actually knowing what I am seeing, I am not sure what to make of these. are these possibly the culprits? They are missing, can I reinstall them somehow or am I looking at a complete reinstall, again???
I very mich appreciate any help you can give...
