Hey all... Glad this site is here... I am currently building a website running for the senate.I am using an old youtube vid i donwloaded in flv format which is quite pixelated...Its 320x240 probably converted from a 3g or something...I have quite a few tools, including some advanced encoders, just not sure where to start...I actually put the address of the youtube file into Jdownloader and thats how i got the file...Wondering if thats the correct way to do it or if there is a sjarper source straight from youtube.. Any tips on the rencode/transcode would be helpfull as well..Just throwing it out there....

Try this piece of software...

It will download the highest quality version that is available for the particular video as well as save them in a few different formats.

Good luck.
