I was IP banned from my favorite forum for no apparent reason (the mods didn't care to explain) and I'm having trouble getting around it. I tried disconnecting my router/modem and manually changing my IP in Control Panel, neither worked. I've tried a dozen proxies, and they all mess up at either the log-in or when trying to post. The only thing that has worked for me is the program "Hide My IP", except I'm on a 14-day trial and I can't find a keygen that works. Is there any software that's free and serves the same purpose? Lots of them seem kind of sketchy and I'm weary of getting a virus. If any of you know a method I can use, I'd appreciate it.

Disclaimer: I wasn't doing anything illegal or really inappropriate. As I said, the mods wouldn't tell me why I was banned. I'd just like to sign up again and not cause any trouble.
