My PC has no internet access, and I'm locked out from any changes.

I was instructed by Bleeping advisor to post DDS and GMER logs with link to my Original post

I followed the instructions according to the Getting Started instructions and attached the resulting log files here.

Please advise on how to restore the admin permissions on my Vista account.

Thanks.

Hello wazoomr

Welcome to BleepingComputer smile.gif
========================
By default Windows Vista requires elevation for anything it is due to the User account control settings.
Try this go to start then start search then type in cmd then when it comes up right click on the file cmd.exe and choose "Run as Administrator" and see then if it will allow cmd to run with administrator privileges.

There is no malware on your machine that shows in the logs.

Please do not pm for help, post it in the forums instead.

Thanks for the help. However, if you had looked at my original reply (link in post #1) you would have seen that your suggestion had already been attempted with a failed result.

Could this be caused by a corrupted windows registry?

However, if you had looked at my original reply
Yes I did.
Ok my mistake did not see that in the first post you made.
I see no malware in your logs at all.
So for this issue I will send you to the Vista forum.
It is located here > http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/forum72.html

Start a new topic there and they will help you get it sorted.

That's where my original post started. Do I need to post it again?

Yes there is no longer any malware and there is not much we can do from a limited account.
Post in the Vista section again please and tell them you have been cleared of any malware.
Then they will proceed with what they can do.
Please do not pm for help, post it in the forums instead.
