Just reinstalled Windows XP SP2 on a Gateway GT5228 and in the process of reloading all my applications. How do I change the default download location? My PC downloads everything to the J:/ drive (5.34 GB), I want to download to my C:/ drive (227 GB). Of course, the J: drive is now full and I can't load the rest of my applications. How do I change that setting??

Many browsers will allow you to make a default location for downloads. If you are using Firefox, go to Tools/Options/General/ and make the changes in the "downloads" section of the panel.
