Recently my computer started behaving in an erratic manner. The keyboard started typing QYTREW on its own with a constant erratic beeping. It also started opening firefox, outlook express and also deleted files on its own. I'm using compaq keyboarg that came with my older pc. Please help me out. I have my project reports on my pc and i dont want it deleted by this erratic behaviour. Regards.

Have you tried using another keyboard on the PC that is being affected? Your issue sounds to me like it is hardware related. Try using a new keyboard, and you can get one pretty cheap from wal-mart or target for around 20 bucks.

Thannx for the reply. I've replaced my old PS2 keyboard with an USB keyboard and the problem seems to be gone. I will notify if any problems occur in the future. Regards.
