Hi guys, i have a frustrating problem with my laptop. When i start the laptop up, i find that my display of my start menu and background only takes up 3 quarters of the 17 inch screen and there are no arrows to widen the image out to the right. For example if i drag something over to the right, it goes into a black bar and cannot be seen. This also applies to dvd playback also. So i am nt seeing the full picture. This also applies to my "desktop background". I have done a system restore and still have no luck. Any help would be great on this as this is driving me nuts. Kid regards Grassy

Here is a pic of the problem. As you can see to the right of the image the image just stops and does[attachment=71230:P7061687.JPG] not take up the whole screen.

Try to connect some external monitor and see, if same thing happens.

It looks like you have some problem with laptop's screen then.
It's up to you, if it's worth to replace it.
