Hi,

IE8 isn't remembering passwords on my email accounts. I have tried putting them on as 'trusted sites' under internet options - this didn't work. This happened before and I posted here but didn't save the topic (is this possible?) so can't remember how to fix.

Thanks.

Blue, here is your previous topic about this issue

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic312303.html

Here is how to find any of your previous posts:

Click on your name next to Logged in as: on the left side of the page, just under BleepingComputer.com

Your profile will open.

Click the drop-down arrow next to Options (left side of page) and choose either Find member's posts or Find Member's Topics.

Scroll through the list until you find what you are looking for.

In your case, you won't have a lot of pages to look through.

If you have several pages of posts or topics, and don't want to wade through the them all click on Search at the top right of the BC page. This is useful if you don't know the date range of when you posted, but you do remember a few keywords from the post.

Click on More Search Options.

When the search page opens, type in a keyword from the post you made, then enter your name in Filter by Member Name (optional).

Scroll down and click Perform the search.

Example: I went to Search options, typed in the keyword passwords, then your name.

The search brought up your post here and your previous post.

It's also handy when you can't recall which forum a topic you replied to is in.

Was your issue solved?
