I am trying to install LaTeX which is a text authoring software popular amongst the engineering & math types.

The installation is a multi-step process that works by way of a PDF that includes file launching (the same kind that got used for the Zeus86 Worm). When I hit the links it says that File Launching from a PDF has been disabled by my system administrator and I can't find anywhere how to fix that. It's my own system at home so there's no "Administrator" but me!
