Hello all. Having trouble with DVD/rw. When I try to burn anything I get the following error message in my Nero:

Device not available
D:HL-DT-ST DVD-RAM GSA-H55N

Track following error
D:HL-DT-ST DVD-RAM GSA-H55N

Could not perform end of Disc-at-once

Burn process failed at 48x(7200 kb/s)

Is that saying the disc-writer isn't working? It's an LG and is only 2 yrs. old. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling them?

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

I prefer Verbatim or Sony for blank cd-r's

You might try slowing the burn speed down to 32 or 24 or even 16x.

The whole nero log might give better clues

It may be Nero issue, as well.

See, if CDBurnerXP will work: http://cdburnerxp.se/
