I saw on a previous post where someone was successfully assisted with removal of the google redirect issue from this post http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic339125.html My computer is routing me to http://search.search-go.net and i never heard of that site. I am using windows XP. I also started seeing out of the blue where my machine is trying to install winpkfilter when my computer boots up. I have no ideal what winpkfilter is and don't know why my machine is trying to install it. Is winpkfilter required for my machine to operate? Is there a way i can remove this virus without having to wipe my system clean an reloading XP all over again?

I would be grateful if i can get any help at all with these issues.

The best way to answer your questions is to follow the prep guide...

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<==.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<==

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then post back here and we will provide you with further instructions.
