I'm running Windows Vista (32 bit), my machine is a Gateway M-1615. After formatting my hard drive I noticed the webcam didn't install so I uploaded a webcam from the Gateway site and to my disappointment I've realized after recording a video on the webcam there's no sound. Can you please help me ?

Did you load the audio drivers?

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

If I did I don't know, I never intentionally downloaded an audio driver for the webcam. I have sound on other programs on the computer. I searched the Gateway site and found nothing.

Go to this site and click on Driver Download and go from there.

I went to the site and downloaded the webcam driver package but it still didn't work so I installed an audio driver package, there was still no sound on the webcam so I uninstalled the webcam and reinstalled it then, alas, there was sound. Thank you so much for suggesting that site although I am not sure what the hell I did but there's sound so thanks a million!
