This question is related to "Connecting to Wireless", just recently posted.

If a visitor with a MacIntosh computer with wireless internet capability visits a house in which Windows is the main operating system, and this house uses a DSL/Broadband service with a wireless router and some house members go online to the internet wirelessly using the signal from the wireless router, can the visitor with his/her Mac computer catch and use this signal too, and connect to the internet and visit websites? The "dumb" question is, does the wireless signal come out formed either for Windows, or for MacIntosh, or acceptable to ALL computers with wireless internet capability?
