Hello Sir/Madam,

Lately it seems I have become a victim of an attack... suddenly when I used the computer everything became blocked, like task manager, exe files etc. I tried to fix it - when eventually I thought I was getting in control again - however, I couldnt get to the Windows logo anymore. So I used some options with the restore command window (stuff like Fixboot) and started again eventually (I think I have problems with the harddrive as well).

At startup, I had the chance to immediatly shut down all processes which were new. Then, with my AVG and newly downloaded Malwarebytes I cleaned a bit. But I still have some troubles... my current processes like svchost and explorer are still infected..

So please, how can I clean it?

Here is a log from a few days ago after I could use my files again:

Ah thanks the virus removal tool of kapersky worked like a charm. And I quess /sfc scannow restored a lot as well.

And stupid of me not to turn every option on in AVG, but unfortunately it still could not remove the problems active in [memory], whereas the tool could.

nedp gave me a ray of hope I can get rid of Adload using Kaspersky online scanner (TTST).

Unforunately, Kaspersky says they're working on an upgrade and it's not available right now. I searched download.com and filehippo.com but nobody seemed to have it.

My AVG Scan gets rid of 3 files but has 3 it can't remove -- all show the same filenames as the first 3 but shows the file in memory and says "object is inaccessible." MY IE is also hijacked to bad search sites. But I've run MBam & Combofix etc and they come up clean.

thanks

  • Have you updated MBAM before you run the scan?
  • Do not run ComboFix without professional experience!
Update MBAM en Rerun the scan of MBAM.
Then read the following article: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic34773.html

Good Luck.
