I think my computer is affected by malware as it has become slow and I would like to run a malware program to remove the malware in safe mode but my computer will not start up in safe mode. I press F8 and select safe mode and it stops loading at the point where I get this line..

"multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS\System32\DRIVERS\iomdisk.sys"

Since it stops loading, I have to switch off power and start the computer again not in safe mode. I ran a malware program (mbam) while the computer was running normally but it didn't do much good. It found about 700 threats, which suggests my computer is riddled. I deleted all of them but I still think there may be many more and would like to do a safe mode scan if possible. Can anyone help??
