I have the dreaded Yahoo redirect virus on my work computer. The only problem I may have with a fix is I cannot disable my A/V software as I am not an adminstrator of my computer. I would let my IT department handle this but they cannot fix it. Please advise if you can help?

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<==.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<==

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then post back here and we will provide you with further instructions.

I cannot get the DDS Icon to appear on my desktop as shown in the help manual. It sits on the desktop as a .txt file.

It may be because I could not perform Step 6 as this is my work computer and I do not have admin rights.
