I have a HP Pavilion dv7-1245 that just got out of warranty, and the battery died. I called to get a new one, and it's $111! Plus shipping. That shocked me.

Can you buy them somewhere cheaper than from HP? Thanks for any advice.

Hi jfhst18, and welcome to BleepingComputer.

I Googled the model of your laptop along with "replacement battery" and found batteries between $55. and $52.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
