A friend of mine told me I should disable AutoRuns on my relative's computer to prevent malware from automatically running from removable media. However, I'm unsure if Windows XP disables USB drives, etc. from running by default, nor if it allows you what to do with a CD by default. Is this even beneficial? My relative usually just plays CDs, or only uses USB drives with files from his computer.

Any advice is appreciated.
