I made a post on Sunday and I don't know if it was skipped over or it just can't be helped. I really just wish that maybe someone can say sorry can't help or that it can't be fixed so I can move on. I am not trying to be rude but its just frustrating when I can't use the computer at all and if it can't be fixed and I need a new PC I would rather buy it today than in 2 weeks being that I am starting classes in a week. I originally had a problem with a search engine redirect issue. And after I ran malwarebytes and Superantispyware the problem did not go away. All the while Symantec was getting a constant barrage of threats that it could not fully quarantine until Symantec asked me to reboot. When I did this it was never able to turn back on. It can only make it to right before the welcome screen then the computer shuts itself down and gives a blue screen with only a brief message that i have in my earlier post. I tried every startup method in the F8 menu to no luck. When symantec gave the notifications the viruses were winlogon.exe and explorer.exe. I even tried a XP reinstallation CD and I also ran some kind of disk check and it says the c drive was clean, (i dont know what that means if its good or bad). Like I said I have an earlier post with a little more detail and it would be great that if it looks terminal, one of the experts can just be like its toast pal get a new computer. I hate to do that but I need a PC for school.

I see that your topic has been picked up. Please note that we have a very large number of people requesting assistance and a limited number of people trained to assist, all of whom are volunteers.

Because of the large number of logs we have, we have devised a means of seeing only those topics that don't have responses which is why we do not respond to a topic in the log forum until we are ready to assist you. Responding to a topic before we are ready to assist would result in lost topics, and nobody would want that.
