When I play CS, my mouse would literally freeze for 3 seconds and NONE of the 5 buttons would respond. When I play games like starcraft or browse the internet, my mouse is fine.

I believe this is because there is too much DPI needed as I am moving my mouse almost frantically (it's a shooting game, so you have to constantly drag your mouse frequently).

I've had this problem for about a month already. Is there any solution to this?

I have an mx310 and its been my mouse for about 2 years now.
