Caught a fake virus Trojan yesterday. I used Malware bytes to remove it. It found 2 files infected and dealt with them. I am left however with Chrome and IE unable to connect to the internet. Firefox will connect and skype works perfectly. Firefox cannot upload files to photobucket either. I tried deleting chrome and re installing it, but it didn't make any difference. What is my next step please?

You will need to change your proxy settings back, and check your hosts file for any changes.

I don't feel like typing it up, but if you get confused I will.

If you recently removed a virus, you should download another anti virus(ex: AVG, Avast, etc.) scan with it(make sure it's updated), then run a updated MBAM scan again. Just to make sure.
