C:\Program Files\Common Files\ISPCOMP\InstallService.exe
Anyone know what this file is for? It's on my list of startup programs as 'InstallService' in the System Configuration Utility. I searched Yahoo and Google and couldn't find anything.

Have you installed any programs like smiley central?

What programs have been installed on your computer recently?

How old is the file?

I ask these questions because sometimes programs can install themselves on your computer with the program you are installing. Especially online, they can download in the background, without you knowing.

Nevermind, I'm an idiot... I didn't even look at the file properties. It's for my NetScape service...

That is how we learn. Someone may benefit for your experience. Thanks for posting the fix.
