Just a small thing i noticed...

I was checking out the profiles of the people that were celebrating their birthdays today, and they haven't been active in months, even over a year....

I understand that there may be a chance that they return for help, but since they haven't come back in over half a year (and made a very small amount of posts), would it be possible to delete the accounts of those members that haven't been active in a while? This would help alleviate some stress on the databases (i guess....) and open up some usernames for new users.

Like i said, it's just a small observation, and it may be out of my place to mention such a thing, lol....

That is a good idea I think. But... that decision is for the powers that be.

Might want to send them a pre-deletion email to remind them of the forum. Who knows, they might find it more usefull this time around?

I wonder how many of those people gave up on computers alltogether and became Luddites or Amish

I think there are other issues here. In addition to bragging rights, there may be monetary advantages to having a larger registered user base.
