Hi,

If I install the drivers for a webcam, can I use any webcam software to use my webcam or does the software have to be the the software that came with the webcam???

Thanks.

Check here to see how to find your camera: http://vip.asus.com/forum/view.aspx?id=200...n-us&page=2

Post #12 where it says: 1. Know your camera ID. How?

Hello and welcome to Bleepingcomputer.

I am going to send you to the Asus web site support page.

There is a green button on this web site which auto-directs you to your driver download page. Please look for this button and click on it, it will install a program on your computer, once it has installed it will auto-detect your motherboard and automatically link you to a driver download page for all your Asus motherboards drivers.

Hope this helps you in finding the correct drivers for Asus computer.

http://support.asus.com/download/download....SLanguage=en-us

Or if you prefer to do it manually, you can use the drop down menus to select your motherboard by its CPU type and then select the motherboard by model number.

Kind regards.

Bruce.
