I came for a solution to a false security alert, stayed for a solution to Google redirect, and will return tomorrow because, despite following carefully a Google redirect solution, I'm still being recruited for random internet piecework when I try to go to "prison research Stanford". I work in social sciences. People are much easier to figure, for me, than this #%^&*(*&^%$##$%^& computer.

See you tomorrow. Wonderful, wonderful resource.

Between this site and Techspot I got it off. As far as I can tell TDSSKiller did it finally. Five days of my life I will never get back. Is there a place to read about how to keep a rootkit off best? Could someone point me to the best forum thread about rootkit protections?

I never wanted to learn this crap. But thanks for being there when I had to learn.
