It will preview the image once scanned on the little screen on the printer but just doesnt do anything when i try to put that image on computer. When i click into the scan section it says "downlopading scan applications from computer", then it goes to scan options, i preivew, and when i click scan button to take it to the computer it.

I tried taking the printer software off to but it back on again. There are 2 CD's, one worked fine, the next CD comes up with a screen telling me I havent connected it properly. As far as I know I have, the power cable is obviously on because i can turn the printer on and then there is a grey cable from the printer into a USB port. That is connected.

The printer worked as printer before but doesnt now. The printer does work with another laptop i have.

what to do?
