I am looking for a cable that will take Molex from a fan and turn it into a three pin female connection for the MB. NewEgg didnt even have them. I dont know if they even exist. Anyone know?

Never seen one. I have plenty of molex to 3 pin adapters, but no 3pin to molex.

I can't figure out why you would need one. Just run your fan from the molex. No use running a fan from a motherboard header if you don't have to. If you need an adjustable fan, get the right 3 or 4 pin fan you need to begin with.

Not with 3 pin to molex. You have to have an RPM sensor wire on the fan, hence my comments.

EDIT: Oops, had you confused with the original poster.

EDIT #2: It's just a habit I got into of never running a fan from a motherboard header that I can run from a molex. Running additional juice through the motherboard, along with the electrical noise from a fan, is just not a good idea. I experienced the results of running a Delta from a mobo header and got to experience that burning plastic smell myself. Fans with a small draw, that need to be speed controlled by the motherboard, no problem with plugging those into a mobo. A fan that will run full tilt all the time, just better to plug into a spare molex.
