Leaving MSN and my email with them. Can I move my address book to my new Hotmail account? If so, how do I back it up?

Thank you

For web based msn mail.

Open up msn mail. Click on Contacts on the left side of the page.

When the contacts list opens, click the drop down arrow next to manage. Choose Export.

Enter the security code.

Follow the steps for exporting the list.

After it's exported, sign out of msn mail, sign in to hotmail.

Follow the same path as mentioned above, only this time choose Import.

If using Windows Live Mail, let me know and I'll tell you how to do it in WLM.

Even though I stated I could help you with Windows Live Mail, I just realized I cannot. I forgot that I recently uninstalled WLM.

I was trying it out, and decided I really don't like it.

I do apologize for stating I could walk you through it with WLM when I cannot.

Maybe someone else will be able to help with that.
