My mother has been visiting and using my laptop for several hours a day for a few days now. I normally run 3-4 instances of mmorpgs and web browsers at the same time on the laptop and an external monitor with little problem.

Suddenly, the computer is very sluggish and can't even run one web browser or program smoothly. I ran Kaspersky and it found nothing. What can I do to salvage my computer? I didn't back anything up, unfortunately.
