Alright I have spent about 2 days already trying to figure this out on my own and its not working out. First I would like to say how this problem started in the first place. I was downloading a game client on bitorrent when all of a sudden I started getting all these pop ups that asked me if I would to like to carry out some operation. I was going to get ready to shutdown my computer, but I was already to late. A security suite of some rouge anti spyware was downloaded onto my computer and it would not let me go to my task manager. I knew from just looking at it that it was a virtuemonde malware that I have dealt with before. I restarted my computer and then as soon as my computer was booting up in normal mode I started hitting ctrl alt del for to get to the task manager and "End Task" the .dll trojan from executing on my computer. I found were the trojans were hiding and stopped them with the task manager. So, when I had control of my computer again I ran Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (I have the log on that if you want to see it) and it found the trojans and deleted them. I thought all my problems were resolved until I got two nasty error boxes that said Error Autorun Rundll32.exe"C:\Users\Nightsystem\AppData\Local\okukupugeb.dll can not be found, and Error Autorun Rundll32.exe"C:\Users\Nightsystem\AppData\Local\sDIVCecl.dll can not be found. I dont want to see these boxes and I want to make sure that my computer really did get rid off these files. I have gone into my registrey and tried deleting the directories from starting, but they keep coming back. I run spybot and it keeps detecting the Reg directories trojans as Virtumonde.prx trojan. It always comes back into my registry and I want it gone. I have used autorun to try to get rid of it but that doesnt work. I have tried Superspybotagent and the thing would not update no matter what. I have tried Norton Security Suite and it keeps detecting those entries. I have no restore point on my laptop and nothing to back up. I am so close to just Installing Clean my laptop, but I know their has got to be a way that I can win against this stupid malware. If you need any logs I will be happy to post them up. Thank you...

Hello,

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<==. If you cannot complete a step, skip it and continue.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Please include a description of your computer issues and what you have done to resolve them.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the topic and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.

Hello,

Now that you have posted a log here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/340566/infected-with-virtumondeprx/ you should NOT make further changes to your computer (install/uninstall programs, use special fix tools, delete files, edit the registry, etc) unless advised by a MRT Team member, nor should you ask for help elsewhere. Doing so can result in system changes which may not show in the log you already posted. Further, any modifications you make on your own may cause confusion for the helper assisting you and could complicate the malware removal process which would extend the time it takes to clean your computer.

From this point on the MRT Team should be the only members that you take advice from, until they have verified your log as clean.

Please be patient. It may take a while to get a response because the MRT Team members are EXTREMELY busy working logs posted before yours. They are volunteers who will help you out as soon as possible. Once you have made your post and are waiting, please DO NOT make another reply until it has been responded to by a member of the MRT Team. Generally the staff checks the forum for postings that have 0 replies as this makes it easier for them to identify those who have not been helped. If you post another response there will be 1 reply. A team member, looking for a new log to work may assume another MRT Team member is already assisting you and not open the thread to respond.

Please be patient. It may take several days to get a response but your log will be reviewed and answered as soon as possible. I advise checking your topic once a day for responses as the e-mail notification system is unreliable.

To avoid confusion, I am closing this topic. Good luck with your log.
