Hi, I am unable to access my (Seagate I think) external hdd. My pc is able to detect it but when I was to open the files, it says inaccessable. Files or directory may be corrupted. I brought to the pc shop and it show the same. The shop suggested I scan for virus. I cannot believe I would have a virus since I only work offline with it that is just to transfer my photos and wmv files which I recorded thru streaming onto my pc, then transfer to external disc. I have never used a ppendrive etc.
Anyway, I did a scan but immediately it came out "some files cannot be read" though it looked like no files were read.
What could be the matter? I do not use the ext hdd daily, maybe once a week for 2 hours or so each time just to transfer my photos , videos etc. TQ
