I am the IT guy for a small company. Till now, as a rule, I have not helped employees with their home pc's. But now, I have signed up here to use other's expertise because I have given in to the massive pressure from a few employees (close friends) to help them with their home PCs.

Their home PCs are a mess and I have found myself in the middle of it. But they have helped me several times with non PC related issues and I feel it is time I help them. I hope to learn enough to help them so they can help themselves in the future. I also hope to impress on them the impact of clicking on anything they see and the importance of being protected.

Your help will be very much appreciated.

It is always good to help others. First get the gunk off their hard drives and then teach them how to be safe---printing off a couple of introductory computer security Tutorials and giving them copies might be a good way for them to learn about what they can do.

 to BC! kelshakei.
You've come to the right place to offer help, while receiving (if need be).

Good Luck,
