I'm sure this type of problem has been posted on here many times, but I want to start of by listing my restrictions at the moment.

1. I have a Dell Inspiron laptop.
2. I'm currently using my wife's desktop because I can't effectively use the internet on my computer.

Overall, I can't use the internet to download any helpful freeware/software etc. I have a CD of McAfee Antivirus software I haven't installed on my laptop. Not sure if that will help.

I did try running a Malware removal program that has worked in the past but I have not been successful this time.

I get popups saying my computer is infected both in a series of separate windows and popups on my taskbar as well. The internet keeps taking me to sites like "porno.org." No, I haven't used porn sites like this one so I don't know why this would happen. I don't use p2p but I have used the occasional torrent program. However, it's been awhile since i have so I don't know if that would have been the cause.

Also, I keep getting warnings saying that programs like itunes.exe is infected as well as other random programs on my computer. There are MULTIPLE windows plaguing my computer right now so I can't pinpoint an exact symptom to refer to for this problem.

Any flags being thrown up that any of you would recognize? I usually figure out how to effectively remove threats on my comp, but being that I can't even use the internet right now I'm at a complete loss. Any advice is appreciated. I can attempt a screen print and load it onto a jump drive to upload on this computer if it would help.

Thank you!

I just had the same thing happen with my inspirion. I took it to my cousin who, took the laptop and hooked it up directly to a modem, got the newest version of MBAM Via Flash Drive and then started the shutdown process but at the last second exited out of it. MBAM was then run and found 6 Rogue objects.

I have MBAM, but maybe not the latest version? Are you saying this worked for you?
