I went into Ease of access center, Make the keyboard easier to use, and turned on toggle keys to make sounds when I hit these keys - Caps lock, Num Lock and Scroll Lock - but I get no sound when I hit any of these keys. What is the problem?

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows...d-easier-to-use <-- Microsoft tutorial on making keyboard easier to use,, According to the article setting that option make the program that enables the functionality start when you log on, meaning that you may have to restart windows. So restart windows and see if that helps if not then I will try and dig up more answers for you.

I finally found the problem. I have Logitech X-540 5.1 speaker system. I notice that there is a matrix button on the Speaker on/off and volume control box that was turned on. When I turned this button off I could hear the toggle tones. You learn something new everyday.
