Hello, I posted few days back and could realy use some help with this Hijack logs or melware. I play World of Warcraft and was in game when i got booted off line, so i loged back on and few mins go by and i get kicked off again. Now i said something about that in vent and someone said you might have a key logger and someone has your pw and logging on while your on. So i got online and and did msconfig to find what programs are being used at start up. Sure enough key logger was found. I looked up the properties of where it was in the hkeys and followed the path and deleted it. Then went back to startup and removed it from there. Rebooted comp and came back to startup and it was gone thumbup2.gif

While i was looking around on the web i found another person that played World of Warcraft and had a key logger as well and had alot of info on stuff he did to get rid of it. (Im not expert at computers but seemed my way was alot quicker and did the job) but in his post he had Hijack this recommended and after doing that and comming to find this handy web site i see there is alot more i could probably do then just what i did.

So i posted about 3 days ago and no responce 96 view's if any one can help i would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks alot

I know how frustrating it is when your computer isn't working properly. Let me assure you that your topic isn't lost, forgotten, or ignored. We work with hundreds of logs every day, so we have devised a means of seeing only those topics that don't have responses yet. At the moment, we have over 400 unanswered topics, the oldest dated Aug 6, 2010 10:53 p.m. Eastern Daylight Savings time in the U.S.A. Your log topic is dated Aug. 12, 2010 at 4:06 p.m. using the same time zone.

Our volunteer MRT team members have various levels of expertise and training, so while we try to take the oldest DDS/HJT logs, it is often the skill level of the particular helper and sometimes the operating system that dictates which logs get selected first. Some infections are more complicated than others and require a higher skill level to remove. Without that skill level attempted removal could result in disastrous results. In other instances, the helper may not be familiar with the operating system that you are using, since they use another. In either case, neither of us would want someone to assist you who is not familiar with your issue and attempt to fix it.

Please be patient. It may take several days to get a response but your log will be reviewed and answered as soon as possible. I advise checking your topic once a day for responses as the e-mail notification system is unreliable.
