I have a new computer w/ a wireless n adapter and my router is a wireless g. Per my understanding a wireless n router can handle a wireless g adapter but a wireless n adapter requires a wireless n router. Is that correct?

Thanks tommy28. I'll have a go at configuring my networking per my mac for beginner's books.

Edit - It worked. I connected to both the internet and the pc on my LAN. I was very impressed w/ myself - or the mac. I never configured a pc that fast.
