Connection problems

Useing ATT high speed service with a Motorola modem. Constant problem with start up. Sometimes the activity light blinks like crazy and other times....nothing. ATT was not much help. Any ideas ? TY

Well...blinking lights on my Motorola modem...means transmission to or from.

Exactly what is the problem?

Can you connect to the Internet?

Do you get cutoff?

Any error messages onscreen?

All lights on modem will be solid but the activity light is doing nothing. Start page may open, but does nothing.

I'd assume, since you're paying for ATT service, you should call them and demand moving their lazy butts, come to your place and see what's going on.
Maybe you need a new modem.

Modem Activity light:

Blinking - Data transmission
Static - No transmission
Off - No connection

Have you tried opening web pages?

Model number of the modem?
