WORD BEING DIFFICULT

For some reason my Microsoft Office WORD has stopped woring properly and I've and to start using WORKS. It will not let me place the curser anywhere, select text, or navigate with the side scroll bar. The only way to move around on the document is using the up and down keyboard arrows. Please help

Do you have the CD's to install Microsoft Word again?

no I don't, it came on my computer. I have the "operating system" cd somewhere but it doesn't say anything about WORD on there, just VISTA

Well, we shouldn't be using that anytime soon so you don't have to worry. But the only thing I would be able to suggest with Word is to reinstall it. Unfortunately, you do not have the CD's to do so.
