I posted this in another forum and was advised to post this in a new topic. The url redirect only happens when I use twitter. I am running Win Vista and when I log on to twitter, it redirects to myspace or a blogspot.com site. I am using the latest version of Firefox as my browser.

I have run the following programs: RKill, Malwarebytes, Spyhunter and have had no luck. I used CCleaner to remove anything else. I do have one file for Symantec that is problematic. Initially when I installed Kaspersky, it removed Symantec but for some reason left the Live Update alone. I tried to remove it and cannot.

I currently am using Kaspersky but even that has not picked up anything. Any suggestions? My IE is running very slow and it is awful if I log into twitter. The virus/malware that i have seems to activate quicker if i use google chrome. When I reboot, it seems to cure it but it kicks in after a while. Can someone please help me? Thank you!

Hello,

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<==. If you cannot complete a step, skip it and continue.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Please include a description of your computer issues and what you have done to resolve them.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the topic and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.
