while viewing movies they sometimes become a little choppy every now and then could this be due to an over heating problem? if so what exacltly is over heating? or could this be a software problem? thankyou

Seriously, it could be many things. Most commonly it's due to insufficient resources (not enough free memory for example). Overheating could be in any of the major system components (motherboard, CPU, vid card, etc). Outdated software drivers/programs can also cause this.

Since it's easiest to update the software - try that first. Also, try this free program for monitoring your temps: http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php
And, you can use Task Manager in the later versions of Windows to check your memory usage.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
