I've had my current laptop for 3 years, and I've never had any kind of virus issue. However, over the last 3 weeks, internet explorer sounds like its opening (no window is discernibly opening in the foreground - I hear only the sounds you'd hear when you double click on a folder in windows explorer) and plays in the background. Randomly, things will just sound off telling me I've won something. This has happened despite the computer being closed/asleep.

Please help me. I need to kill this thing off.

Thank you.
