So I just moved to a new school with a new network, and they force us to install a program that makes sure we have norton endpoint protection installed. The version they give us is completely locked, to the point that I cant even adjust what time the scan runs.

Other than pleading my case to the IT dept, what else can I do? Is there some way to trick the cisco NAC agent into thinking that say, AVG is their particular version of norton? Is there some registry entry I can edit to change the scan time?
