I am trying to remove Security Tool from my Mother's computer and I am following the guide as posted on this site, and I have gotten through the process of running rkill, and I have renamed the mbam-setup.exe to Explorer.exe but when I click on the new Explorer.exe the box comes up asking for access, and I click allow, and then nothing happens. I think Security Tool isn't allowing me to run and install the mbam. Is there anything I can do? Any advice would be great.

Thanks,
Tanner

From another computer download rkill to a flash drive, open it from that drive. Thats the way I got rkill to work. Security tool is most likely stopping rkill from downloading like it should. Hope this helps.
